We all brush our teeth, and many of us use electric toothbrushes – for good reason. They do a great job. But with so many to choice from, which  will be the best for you? I’m a toothbrush geek – if there is such a thing, and have owned many over the years, so I can with confidence tell you what the best is.

If you just want to know what the Top 3 best electric toothbrushes are then save your time and go here. If you have a little more time, then see my full electric toothbrush comparison guide here.

If you still can’t make up your mind as to what is best, don’t worry. In all Honestly you can’t go wrong with any of the toothbrushes from one of the main brands, Oral-B or Philips. I’ve used them all and there is nothing to separate the cleaning performance. Its down to you to use them correctly. What you pay for on the more expensive toothbrushes are more features and convenience. All of these brushes here will do a great job.

No1:   Full Review  Braun Oral-B Triumph 5000

oral-b 5000Now I’m not one to recommend a gimmicky product, and It would be easy to argue that this is exactly what the Oral-B 5000 series  is – but look beyond the smiley face and in real world use you will find that no other toothbrush in the world actually genuinely makes a difference in how you brush your teeth.

My only caveat to this would be if you are on a budget AND know how to use an electric toothbrush correctly. If that’s you, then save your money and get the much cheaper Oral-B Pro 1000. You are paying for features and convenience here.

No2:   Full Review  Braun Oral-B Professional Care 1000

What Toothbrush do I suggest for my friends and family when they ask? What’s the best  Toothbrush that can give me the best possible clean, but still at a reasonable price?

Oral-B Pro Care 1000You can pay a lot more, but no Toothbrush does anything significantly better than the Oral-B Pro Care 1000 for most people. Sure spend more for extra features if you wish, but the cleaning performance will be exactly the same. Yes the Pro Care 1000 runs at the same speed (40,000 pulsations/min + 8800 sweeps/min) as the top of the range Oral-B 5000 series.

No3:   Full Review  Philips Sonicare DiamondClean

Philips Sonicare HX9332Different to most Oral-B brushes (except the ‘Pulsonic’ range – don’t bother its a poor cousin), this Philips brush head is ‘sonic’ instead of Oral-B’s oscillating/rotating motion.

Philips have been developing this technology for the past 20 years and a lot of people swear by them.

It is the most expensive toothbrush here, but if you have the money AND you know how to brush properly then this is the Best electric toothbrush in the world.
